Sanmar delivers advanced ship-handling tug to Italian operator

Sanmar has handed over a technologically advanced Boğaçay Class tug, now named Portosalvo, to Italian operator Rimorchiatori Napoletani — the first of a series of four.
Introduction & Context
Sanmar delivered one of its top-selling, technologically advanced Boğaçay Class tugboats to the Italian company Rimorchiatori Napoletani. The tug was initially known as BOĞAÇAY LXXVIII at Sanmar and is now renamed Portosalvo.
Rimorchiatori Napoletani is active in ports like Naples, Taranto, Bari and Gaeta. This delivery is part of a long-term partnership, being the eighth tug delivered by Sanmar to this operator over time.
Sanmar plans a total of four sisterships in the series: two confirmed, two optional, with deliveries scheduled in 2025 and 2026.
