The Dubai Land Department (LD) will participate in the forthcoming Gitex information technology exhibition, between October 20 and 24 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The government body, which played a prominent role at the recently concluded Cityscape Global 2013, will be showcasing its latest smart e-systems that have been designed to revolutionise its services and promote further investment in Dubai’s real estate sector.

LD will be presenting its package of smart solutions, revamped website, applications and e-services to potential investors, with experts on hand to answer any queries and explain the benefits of the various programmes.

“We would like to thank our creative staff for developing the package of e-services that have been designed to advance the concept of e-transformation, to translate the vision of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai,” said Sultan Butti bin Mejren, director general of the Land Department. “These services have been created as a response to the significant increase in activity witnessed by the emirate’s real estate market and will work to help transform Dubai into becoming a future world leader in the global property sector,” he said.

Among the new applications being showcased by LD at Gitex is the Dubai investment map, which serves as an e-gateway linked to the department’s website which shows the real estate projects taking place across the emirate and helps investors make purchasing decisions by providing the most up-to-date information based on trusted sources.
