Transnet Expands Fleet with Liebherr RTGs
South Africa’s Cape Town Container Terminal (CTCT), operated by Transnet Port Terminals (TPT), has received nine advanced Liebherr diesel-electric rubber-tyred gantry cranes (RTGs).
The new fleet aims to:
- Improve container yard productivity
- Reduce carbon emissions compared to conventional cranes
- Enhance reliability in peak operational periods
Boosting Port Efficiency
